A source of life and a glimpse of hope !
During the summer of 2015, we had a generous donation from Guillaume Langlois and Magalie Pilon, who allowed us to plant more than 1,000 trees in the communtiy of Wagusu. Trees were planted at the orphanage, at the primary school, at local church and on personal ground of several women from the village.
The presence of the trees will help the soil retain rainwater and make it the warm, dry climate of Africa more tolerable.
The community liked the project so much that they’ve considered doing an annual tree planting day in honor of PECK.
